In Kennel Training is an option for those who board their pets at the Flying A Canine Ranch. If you board your dog during vacation and want the dog to be trained while you are gone, give Custom Dog Training a call. Custom Dog Training will do in kennel training where your dog will be trained while staying at the Flying A.
You have several options;
- You can choose the number of days you want training, and you will be charged for the training on those days, in addition to the usual charge for boarding. We will discuss your goals and determine what is realistic within the time frame of the days you wish training.
- If you would like a more extensive training program a flat rate can be determined for one week, two weeks, or whatever time period you wish. Your dog will be trained daily, during that period.
- Step one is a phone call to us, at the Flying A, to determine the kenneling availability and to understand our vaccines requirements.
- Step two is a call to Custom Dog Training (810.797.3648) for an appointment to evaluate your dog and discuss with you your specific training goals.
After the program is completed, the Trainers will meet with you and your dog to teach you the training techniques required to continue the obedience taught to your dog. This is critical. The authority established with your dog and the Trainer must be transferred to you.
Having a Trainer train your dog is a convenient short cut since we can make more rapid progress with your dog's training than you can. However, training must be reinforced by you or it will be lost.
